研究方向
主要关注干旱区第四纪环境变化,沙漠形成与演化。熟悉古地磁、26Al/10Be埋藏测年等第四纪测年方法;采用粒度、环境磁学、元素地球化学、有机地球化学等指标,进行古环境重建。现研究侧重于中国不同沙区第四纪古生态、古水文和古环境变化的综合研究。

研究成果
长期从事干旱区古环境研究,聚焦于沙漠形成与演化。自2008年以来,先后在腾格里沙漠、巴丹吉林沙漠、库布齐沙漠、古尔班通古特沙漠、塔克拉玛干沙漠、毛乌素沙地和浑善达克沙地开展自主岩心钻探,获取了大量沙漠岩心资料;基本确立了中国主要沙漠形成的年代框架以及沙漠环境变化过程;现主要开展不同沙漠的综合对比研究。近五年发表论文10余篇,其中第一作者或通讯作者SCI论文6篇,包括Quaternary Science Reviews,Catena等一流期刊论文4篇。以本人建立的腾格里沙漠钻孔年代框架为基础的关于腾格里沙漠干湿周期分析的论文,表在国际顶刊PNAS上(2021年,三作),进一步提升了沙漠岩心钻探工作的影响力。先后主持国家自然科学基金委青年和面上项目,作为项目骨干参与国家自然科学基金委重点项目、科技部“二次青藏科考”、基础资源专项调查等多项国家级项目。
